Who we are

New Living Music is an organization for the creation and promotion of contemporary music created by young, innovative, imaginative, and engaged creators, artists, and composers.

Since 2021, New Living Music has collaborated with renowned performers and ensembles from around the world, including andPlay, con-trust, Ty Bouque, Miranda Cuckson, Dan Lippel, John Popham, Ben Roidl-Ward, Martin Schmeding, and Rafał Żółkos. We believe that deep collaboration between composers, performers, spaces, and audiences can broaden our understanding of sound, music, concepts, and environment through an ongoing exploration of individuality, openness, and interaction.

a concert series

The idea for this concert series grew out of a project with Quartet 121, which materialized during the COVID pandemic. The intent was to create an initiative to provide guidance, focus, and purpose despite general uncertainty in the performing arts. The overwhelming experience of this concert resulted in the idea to establish a concert series. Each concert consists of compositions mostly written specifically for the performer or the ensemble.
